[ did Thancred think he'd be alone in the library? well, think again! because there's Siffrin!
though considering how they seem to be slumped on a chair with a half drunken bottle of vodka on the table, maybe Thancred can ignore them if he wants. ]
[Well, he WAS looking for something. But he halts when he sees the droopy posture and the bottle of booze. Oh boy.]
It feels a little foolish to ask if you're alright. [Gently quipped as he grabs another nearby chair and plops down into it, his head cocked slightly towards the vodka.] But you can only drown your sorrows in so much, you know.
You know, boldly stating those things you feel strongly about regardless of opinion or consequence. Standing up for someone, not being afraid to pick a fight that's needed. That sort of thing.
[Though it looks like they'll need a second, so he'll let that sit and move on.]
You as well, eh? A journey for journey's sake, or do you have a destination in mind?
[ they… did do that, didn’t they? but somehow the compliment only makes their expression twist slightly in pain, like something that fits uncomfortably.
so he’s very grateful for the change in subject. ]
No destination. I just… let my feet carry me wherever. You, too?
[Noted, but he'll keep that to himself for now. If a distraction is more helpful, then that's where he'll guide them both.]
A little more grounded in purpose, for now. But it's a freedom I'd been looking forward to pursuing again. Going wherever the wind blows, helping people in need.
There's a lot to see in the world, if you're brave enough with your steps. A great deal of people to meet.
Survival in the depths of the wilderness, perhaps? A dashing and dramatic run from the arms of pursuing soldiers? Or would you prefer something more like a heroic rescue?
[me as the player like pick a card ill give u some lore]
[ Wait, he's going to think that Siffrin's judging him, isn't he? He can't have that! ]
I guess... I was a little curious? We probably have to work together to solve this whole thing, don't we? So, uh, it's good to have someone that's trying to talk to them!
[A beat. But he gently exhales with a quirk of his lips, voice lowering slightly.]
Sage is the only one I've spoken to with any frequency. My efforts for the others have been... halted by my little predicament this week. But I owe Rosemary an overdue apology as it is, and I have plenty to report to Foxglove. So I've no desire to stop my efforts.
They've all their reasons for speaking, and acting, whether I agree with them or not. I merely intend to hear them and make that decision for myself.
Oh, you speak to Sage, too! They know a lot, don't they?
[ Siffrin's ears perk up with interest. Foxglove, they've never managed to have a full conversation with, but... maybe they should try to hear them out? And Rosemary, well... they kind of just went and looted their room. ]
Where, um... would you find Foxglove? I don't think we talked after our first meeting.
They certainly think they do, at least. [There's a further turn of his smile at that, but he moves on quickly enough.]
I found Foxglove the first time out in the ampitheatre, examining the plantlife. From what others in the meeting said, that has still been a popular spot.
Though I've reason to believe they may have interest in the infirmary as well, given that they are an alchemist.

I DIDN'T GET A NOTIF FOR THIS I HATE DW
He lets out a sigh, crossing his arms as he looks them over.]
It's... Siffrin, right? [He's a profile reader, kiddo, sorry.]
You had more passion than many of us out there tonight. What is it you normally do back home?
DESTROYS DW
[ what Thancred says is confusing enough to get their attention in full. he turns his head towards the man, blinking a couple times? ]
Passion? [ that doesn’t sound right. ] No I… I’m just a traveler.

[ It's a bit after the townhall, and seeing Thancred's back, Siffrin decides to run towards it, calling him to get his attention. ]
I had a small question, if that's okay?

Siffrin? Aye, ask away.
